Don’t worry, mini sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and stress-free! I’ll guide you through poses and prompts so you don’t need to worry about what to do in front of the camera. The sessions are short and sweet, making them perfect for families with little ones. All you need to do is arrive a few minutes early, bring your smiles, and let me take care of the rest.

Coordinating outfits work best. Earth tones, pastels or neutrals will have the best results on camera and give your photos a cohesive look without being "too matchy". Feel free to add a pop of seasonal colour (like deep red, forest green, or gold) these photograph beautifully. Try to avoid busy patterns or logos that might distract from your family’s faces. Cozy knits, dresses, or classic jeans and a nice top are all great choices. If you’d like, I can send you some outfit inspiration ahead of time!

A mini session is a shorter, set-time photoshoot around 15 minutes. It’s designed to give you a handful of beautiful, professional images without the length and cost of a full session. Because they’re scheduled back-to-back on the same day, it’s important to be on time. You’ll get a festive, styled setup, a guided photoshoot, and a curated gallery to choose your favourite images from.

Mini sessions are best suited for immediate families, parents and children. If you’d like to include grandparents or extended family, please reach out before booking so we can discuss the best option. Pets are welcome (and make the cutest Christmas photos!), but please let me know in advance so I can prepare.

You’re not alone, many parents worry about this! The beauty of mini sessions is that they are short and playful, which helps keep kids engaged. I use games, prompts, and lots of encouragement to make it fun. If your child is shy, that’s okay I’ll work gently with them and capture their personality as it shines through. Plus the candid moments end up being the most loved photos!

Your photos will be delivered within 1 week. You’ll receive an online gallery where you can view, download, and share your images. You will be able to select and download 7 images and you’ll also have the option to purchase additional images.

A $50 deposit is required to secure your spot, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred if you need to reschedule due to illness or an emergency.
